Phase 1: Curating and Preparing the Baby Girl Outfits

Sorting and Inspection
Before a single cut is made, each garment is thoroughly inspected for fabric type, stretch factor, and decorative placement (such as chest prints or embroidery). Because baby clothes are made from diverse materials—ranging from stretchy knit cottons to delicate woven blends—stitching them directly side-by-side without preparation can lead to puckering, uneven seams, and distorted patterns.
Phase 2: Precision Cutting with Modern Tools

Cutting the Strip: We cut an 8-inch wide strip from the length of the saree.
Folding and Attachment: The strip was carefully folded and attached around all four outer edges of the quilt assembly.
